Afghan Hounds are generally a healthy breed.  (possible inherited disorders) However we are undertaking a health testing program.

Marco's hip joint X-rays looked "Good".

Marco's eyes looked "clear" of any problems.

Cat was in the 90th percentile and had a hip joint laxity of 0.27, which is good.

"No inherited eye disease found" for Cat.

Harley's hips were x-rayed after he bred Cat in 2009. The results were sent directly to his owner.

Puck is a Harley X Cat puppy. We had his hips checked before his show career began. He was in the 80th percentile with hip joint laxity of 0.30. That is still good. There was no evidence of degenerative joint disease.

Punkin's hip joints looked "Excellent".

"No inherited eye disease found" for Punkin.
